Replacing old raised patios with refreshing porcelain 

Work done:
Removed old patio
Removed old walls to create an open garden
Rerouted drainage from storm drains & patio
Added MOT base for all patio areas

May 2023

Replacing old raised patio and sloping garden with 3 tiers including porcelain slabbing and astro turf complemented with contemporary fencing and flowerbeds.

Work done:
Removed old patio
Removed all bushes and trees
Dug out for new tiers
Rerouted drainage from storm drains & patio
Added MOT base for all patio and astro areas
Built in new flowerbeds
Added contemporary fencing
Layed astro to add colour
Layed porcelain patio including faces of steps
Installed ACCO drainage 
 
All work completed over 2 months

Garden in Norton 
November 2022

Replacing patio with porcelain slabs, adding a path to a new a new composite decking area. Installed raised sleeper beds through out.

Work done:
Removed old patio & path at side of house
Dug out for new path to composite decking
Added MOT base for all patio and path areas
Layed porcelain patio
Installed decking frame and composite boards
Added a porcelain path to decking
Created sleeper flower beds
Added 'black ice' gravel to soften the look
Grouted the joints of the patio
Installed ACCO drainage 
 
All work completed over 2 weeks

Garden in Kinver
July to October 2022

Replacing rotten staked walling with block and brick and created stepped access to a more usable garden.

Work done:
Removed old flower beds
Removed deteriorated wooden stake walls
Raised the bottom of the garden with a block wall to level the garden
Installed wide steps from top of the drive for easier access to garden
Installed new brick and block retaining walls throughout
Added graveled areas to soften the look of brick
Installed reclaimed sleeper walls for constrast
Replaced lawn
 
All work completed over 4 months.

Garden in Kingswinford December 2021

Increasing the size of main patio, adding wider steps leading to the garden and replacing old flower style brick wall with featheredge fencing.

Work done:
Dug out old patio area and previous sub-base
Dug out reed plants from previous flower beds
Built a new retaining with from Harley Red bricks
Added 100mm hardcore sub base
Layed porcelain patio
Added a small path around shed
Created a flower bed focal point at the peak of the staircase
Grouted the 5mm joints of the patio
Removed the old 'flower bricks
Installed featheredge fences with timber posts
 
All work completed over 4 weeks.

Garden in Norton November 2021

Increasing the size of main patio, adding an additional patio at the bottom and altering the steps to a dog leg style. Also replaced the pergola with a wider structure.

Work done:
Dug out old patio area and previous sub-base
Rebuilt the retaining wall 
Added limestone copings to walls
Built in sleeper steps into the house and bench area under pergola
Added 100mm hardcore sub base
Layed porcelain patio
Created a flower bed focal point at the peak of the staircase
Grouted the 5mm joints of the patio
Rendered the walls
 
All work completed over 6 weeks.

August 2021

Increasing the size of patio, adding sleeper flower beds and returfing.

Work done:
Dug out old patio area and previous sub-base
Removed dwarf wall to increase patio size
Removed bushes/trees to add width to garden
Levelled whole garden area
Installed new sleeper beds
Added 100mm hardcore sub base
Layed porcelain patio
Added patio path around the turfed area
Grouted the 5mm joints of the patio
Replaced turf with new grass.
 
All work completed over 2 weeks.

Rear Garden Netherton Dudley
November 2020

Replacing old patio and gravelled area with porcelain slabs, astro turf and sleeper walls.

Work done:
Dug out old gravel and previous sub-base
Levelled garden across 2 levels
Installed new sleeper walls
Added a step with the sleepers to the top tier
Installed frame for astro turf and filled with sand
Installed a new raised patio at rear for potted plants
Layed astro and patio
 
All work completed in 10 days.

Gravel drive 
Milking Bank  
October 2020

Removing original tarmac drive and replacing with gravel and block paving edgings.

Work done:
Dug out tarmac
Levelled drive
Added a compacted base layer of hardcore
Sharp sand layer added, again compacted
Weed membrane added to whole drive
Gravel grid added to ensure stability of gravel
 
All work completed in 1 week.

Astro turf with picket fence in Milking Bank  
September 2020

Removing original grassed lawn and replacing with astro turf.

Work done:
Dug out grass
Deck board cladding added to walls for aesthetic improvement
Picket fence and gate erected for safety
Sharp sand base layed and compacted 
Astro turf laid 
 
All work completed in 1 week.

Patio & Sleeper wall Dudley 
September 2020

Levelling slope of garden to add patio and retaining wall of railway sleepers.

Work done:
Levelled slope to same gradient as the house.
Dug out area for steps to top of garden.
Creosoted railway sleepers for longevity.
Hardcore laid down and compacted for patio.
Shed taken down and erected in new area.
Shed base created from original slabs at the rear of property.
 
All work completed in 1 week.

Garden Conversion Leicester 
August 2020

Remodelling of rear garden to include workshop, decking, patio and gravelled area.

Work done:
Built workshop, including EPDM rubber roof, insulation and plyboard finishing.
Patio area around workshop.
Decking area at rear and wrapped around side of property.
Gravelled area from side gate to decking.

All work completed within 3 weeks.

Patio in Longbridge March 2020

Creating a patio area in the rear garden. The garden of this new build was clay and dirt with no area to sit or relax.

Work done:
Dug down 150mm from the rear entrance and levelled across the whole area (8mx5.5m)
50mm hardcore layer added
Whacker used to compress the hardcore
Aco drain added to the rear of house for drainage from patio
Added feather edge to bottom of fence for aesthetic effect
Slabs put down on a 50mm bed of sharp sand and cement with a bonding agent applied to slabs for extra adhesion
Granite jointing compound used to seal the slab joints

All work to be completed at the start of March.

Block pave drive
Little Aston
February 2020

Remodelling of driveway with block paving to allow more parking.

Work done:
Digger hired to remove original driveway
Hardcore layer added
Roller hired to flatten hardcore
Sand layer added
Edging stones cemented in
Added step to front door
Planed gates

All work completed at the start of March.

*awaiting the borders to be filled in with top soil by customer.

Garden steps in Norton Stourbridge
January 2020

Remodelling of steep front garden steps.

Work done:
Removed original steps
Dug out footings for the new steps
Built double skin walls for steps
Brick on edge with a solid blue finish
Filled steps with earth and hardcore
Added natural stone slabs
Railway sleeper 'flower bed' installed
Feather edge fence added to separate garden from neighbour 
Finished off with natural pebbles across the remainder of the garden. 

All work was completed in 6 days.

Landscaping in Cookley
December 2019

Enhancement to the top of garden patio area.

Work to be done:
Flower beds
Storage for pond pumps
New wider steps
Custom made copings

All brickwork to have raked out joints using a 'Joint Raker'.

Lighting included in all steps, main retaining wall and flower beds.
